Objective 6:

Integrate an appreciation for the history of the social work profession and the relationship between social welfare policies and the social work profession to inform the context of current generalist practice.

An assignment I completed that demonstrates completion of this objective is a Research Brief completed for my Senior Research class. For this assignment, I reviewed several up-to-date articles on the topic of relatives raising children and discussed the articles’ finding as well as  implications related to social work practice for this population.
